Hatching eggs by tapping the stylus on the 3DS screen is gone because of no 3DS stylus or bottom screen. You can raid the den and have a high chance of getting the egg of the monster. Gameplay: The gameplay elements I enjoy about the first game are still here like throwing paint balls to get monsters to retreat to their den. A new weapon system where different monsters are weak to different types of weapons: Sword, hammer, bow, and gun lance adding more strategy to battle. Combat: In Monster Hunter Stories 1 you could only have two people in the party during combat. Playing the game on hand held mode on the Switch also looks great. A major difference after playing the original game on the 3DS. I couldn’t help but smile while playing this game on my big screen. The ability to play the game on the big screen due to the capabilities of the Nintendo Switch is incredible. The best looking game on the Nintendo 3DS looks even better on the Nintendo Switch. I love the animated colorful designs of the monsters and riders. Graphics: The island Jungle setting looks amazing! Also there is a new day and night system.
